There’s an item sparking curiosity among the Minecraft community, the Golden Dandelion, a new flower that has been spotted in the latest Java snapshot 26.1 and Bedrock previews.
Golden dandelions are made using regular dandelions and gold nuggets. When fed to baby mobs, these can keep them as babies forever. Can these effects be reversed? This article will cover everything you need to know about Golden Dandelions in Minecraft.
How to Craft the Golden Dandelion
The Golden Dandelion can only be crafted; you’ll need to look for a regular dandelion, which can be found in almost all biomes. The smelted 1 gold ingot in a furnace to get 9 gold nuggets. Now, with these ingredients;
- 1 Dandelion
- 8 Gold Nuggets
In a crafting table, place the regular dandelion in the middle, then surround it with golden nuggets. The recipe can be seen below:
There is another way to obtain the golden dandelion, and that’s by purchasing them from the wandering trader. Most likely, they will sell one for 2 emeralds.
Golden dandelion uses
Once a baby mob is fed a golden dandelion, it stops ageing entirely. However, this doesn’t work on baby villagers, baby monsters, undead mobs, and tadpoles.
Reverting golden dandelion effects
Feed the golden dandelion to the baby mob again to revert it to normal.
